Laser lipolysis is a relatively new technique, claimed to be as effective as liposuction, and as gentle treatment without risk to the vascular system or damage to the skin, without scars or depressions. This is a state-of-the-art laser technique specific for treating fatty deposits on thighs, buttocks, hips and ankles. It is very rapid.
Generally only a few minutes of photonic radiation are necessary to dissolve a fat deposit. Technically speaking, a small sterile tube the size of a needle is inserted directly into the fatty deposit. Under the effect of the laser the fat cells are destroyed.
The laser lipolysis is less traumatic than traditional liposuction in that it does not produce mechanical friction inside the fat deposit which occurs with a classic liposuction procedure. There is no swelling and no pain after the procedure. It is particularly reccommended on well-defined, compact areas such as le coulotte de cheval or fat pads on hips.
